Vertical Slider Windows

Double-hung Window

• Two sliding sashes
• Lower sash pushes up to allow in cool breezes
• Upper sash opens down to pull hot air from ceiling to outside
• Every outside part of a double-hung window is accessible from inside for easy cleaning

Single-hung Window

• Similar to double-hung window, but only bottom sash slides up
• Movable sash has tilt feature for better ventilation and easy cleaning
